Cajun Buttery Herb Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
- 4 oz. un-salted butter
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon fresh oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Juice of 1/2 lemon or more to taste
- ½ cup chicken stock
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
- Lightly season shrimp with creole spice. Heat about 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in skillet.
- Sauté for about 3 -5 minutes shrimp set aside.
- Add remaining butter, followed by garlic stir for about a minute or until fragrant.
- Then add, paprika, thyme, oregano, lemon juice and chicken broth,
- Bring it to a boil then simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Toss in shrimp adjust for salt and pepper. Serve over pasta, rice or vegetables
